A Day in the Life of a Personalized Internet Assessor:
In this role, you’ll be analyzing and providing feedback on texts, pages, images, and other types of information for top search engines, using an online tool. Through reviewing and rating search results for relevance and quality, you’ll be helping to improve the overall user experience for millions of search engine users, including yourself. This role offers a pay rate of $14/hour. Working hours are flexible and may vary weekly, with a maximum of 25 hours per week depending on project availability.
Basic Requirements
- Working as a freelancer with excellent communication skills in English (minimum professional proficiency).
- Completion of at least a High School Diploma.
- Being a resident in the United States for the last 3 consecutive years and having familiarity with current and historical business, media, sport, news, social media, and cultural affairs in the US.
- Current residence must be in one of the following states: UT, IA, TX, AR, OH, MS, OK, ID, IN, PA, LA, VA, ND, KS, MO, MN, KY, NC, SC, MI, NM, NH, TN, GA, AL, WI, WV, SD, WY, MT, or FL.
- Active use of Gmail and other forms of social media, with experience in the use of web browsers to navigate and interact with a variety of online content.
- Daily access to a broadband internet connection, a smartphone (Android 5.0, iOS 14 or higher), and a personal computer to work on.
- You must have a Gmail account to proceed — the process cannot be completed with any other type of email.
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid U.S. ID.
- Must be comfortable working flexible hours (up to 25 per week) and reviewing potentially sensitive content.
Assessment
In order to be hired into the program, you’ll take a language assessment and an open book qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position.
